Hindles are proud to congratulate Rebecca Douglas and Douglas Purdie on passing the European Patent Attorney Qualification examinations 2021 and as a result achieving the qualifications required to become European Patent Attorneys. Rebecca Douglas is also now qualified to become a UK Patent Attorney.

We are pleased to see that their hard work in preparing for and sitting these exams has paid off. Rebecca and Douglas have had two very different paths to qualification, with Rebecca having joined Hindles as a new entrant to the profession from postgraduate research and Douglas having made a change of career from being an examiner at the European Patent Office to working on the other side of the fence, in the patent attorney profession.

Our trainees have always had a strong track record in the UK and European examinations and the professional development of all of our staff, at all stages of their career, remains a key priority. We currently have a further vacancy for a trainee to support future growth.
