Patent Secretary

Hindles Limited are seeking to recruit a patent secretary to work closely with our patent attorneys and other support staff. Duties include preparing correspondence, preparing forms for patent and trade mark applications, liaising with clients, invoice generation, electronic filing, sharing telephone reception duties, and meeting and greeting clients. All this work needs to be done with considerable care and attention.

The successful candidate will be reliable, highly-organised, self-motivated and good at working in a team, with strong attention to detail. Good computer skills and the ability to draft clear letters and emails are essential. Although we expect to recruit someone who is new to the role, applications from those who already have relevant experience would be welcome. Structured training will be provided, and we are keen to recruit someone who is willing to learn and develop new skills. The post is a permanent position with a 37.5 hour working week and good long-term prospects.

Due to the current pandemic this position will initially be by remote working, and then based from our offices as and when appropriate.
