Maeve McCrossan

Trainee Patent Attorney

Maeve joined Hindles in September 2022 as a trainee patent attorney new to the profession. After graduating from the University of Warwick with a master's degree in Physics in 2020, Maeve began working as a project manager for a general practice surgery in charge of coordinating the vaccination effort during the pandemic. She has now begun her career in the patent profession at Hindles.

Maeve's master's project focused on the analysis of the magnetic structure of the solar corona, using solar imaging in extreme ultraviolet wavelengths to analyse transverse oscillations of coronal loops caused by transient solar events, and using the properties of these oscillations determined through this analysis in combination with magnetohydrodynamics to investigate the structure and properties of the solar magnetic field.
