Matt has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and, prior to entering the patent profession, worked as a software developer in the telecommunications industry.

Matt has worked in the patents profession since 1999, qualifying as a patent attorney in 2004.

Matt has particular expertise in relation to computer-implemented inventions and US patent practice and has worked as a consultant for Hindles for several years.
